SELECTING YOUR DATES
Timing is everything! The best months for hunting in South Africa are from March to October, when the weather is mild and game movement is optimal. Popular months book up quickly, so we recommend reserving your dates well in advance.
DEPOSIT & PAYMENT INFORMATION
To secure your booking, we require a 50% deposit, with the remaining balance due upon arrival. Payments can be made via:

TRAVEL INSURANCE
Permits & Documentation – Obtain a temporary firearm import permit (SAPS 520) on arrival. Bring your firearm license, proof of ownership, and an invitation letter from BOSS Safaris.
Firearm Restrictions – Handguns, automatic, and semi-automatic rifles are prohibited. Bring only hunting rifles.
Ammunition Limits – Maximum of 200 rounds per caliber, but bringing 60–80 rounds per rifle is recommended.
Transport & Storage – Firearms must be transported in a secure, lockable case. Ammunition must be stored separately.
Airline Regulations – Check with your airline for specific firearm transportation policies.
