Kariba Safari Lodge is situated on a mountainside with sweeping views over the azure blue water and the islands in the eastern basin of the lake. Lodges and suites are distributed over 33 acres of a forested hillside which slopes down to the lake shore and beach area. This top lodge on Lake Kariba also has a sandy beach and a swimming cage (diameter of 15 metres) that allows you to swim directly in the lake without fear of crocodiles or hippos. 

There are nine open-fronted, en-suite lodges on the property. Each of these lodges on lake Kariba has its own patio. Every lodge has twin beds that can be converted into king-size doubles. Travellers enjoy broad views of the lake directly from the comfort of their beds. Kariba Safari Lodge also has eight suites each with en-suite bathrooms and private patios that offer sweeping views of the lake. Each of these suites can sleep 4 guests in king-size double beds and on two Indian day beds. Lodges are positioned on a hill therefore please advise us in advance of any guests who may struggle with the steep inclines. We will book them into lodges close to the main reception area.
